Lorie has worked at the Steinbach Credit Union for 32 years.  Much of this time has been in the role of Manager of the Member Services Department.

Lorie has a brother who lives with a disability and she advocates for him, and the inclusion of others who live with a disability.  She would love the opportunity to give back to the Community in serving on the Board at enVision.

Kris joined the enVision board in December of 2022 after being tapped on the shoulder by a former board member. In his daily work, he works at Birchwood Funeral Chapel as the Assistant Managing Director. Kris has a child who lives with a disability and he spends time advocating for him as well as the inclusion of others who live with a disability.

Lorie began her teaching career in 1990 in Seine River School division. After completing further special education training she moved over to Hanover School Division, teaching special education in 1991.  She has worked as a special education / behaviour programming consultant with their student services branch from 1997 until present.

Lorie has been actively involved in a number of boards  and non profit organizations. Lorie takes special interest in the enVision board since her grandparents were part of the founding families in the 50s.

Calvin lives in Steinbach, and is employed at Clearview Co-op as the Senior Finance Manager.  His interest in the board comes from personal life experience of having a child who lives with a disability, as well as contributing to a cause that helps people to contribute to community in meaningful ways. He brings a personal passion to see increased opportunities for those who may not have equal access.

Calvin brings a background in accounting with over 19 years of experience in the industry, and a degree in Management.

Carrie is the Human Resources Manager at Barkman Concrete and has a real passion for non-profit organizations. She has experience with and education about non-profit organizations, and she volunteers with a local equine therapy organization.

Aurele retired after practicing pharmacy and teaching Chemistry and Pharmacology at the University of St-Boniface. He’s married to Rachel and together they’ve had four boys who are all grown up and on their own.

Aurèle has had numerous experiences as a board member on various organisations such as the Regional Health Authority, the School Division and the Association of Community Living on which he also served as Chair.  He also spent a year full time as a volunteer at the l’Arche community for the intellectually challenged.

Marcel graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in economics and then graduated from Law School in 1982. He has been practicing law since 1983 and in 1987 became a partner at the law firm of Smith, Neufeld, Jodoin with a practice specializing in civil litigation.

Marcel is presently a senior partner at the law firm of Smith, Neufeld, Jodoin and has been a guest speaker at the Law Society of Manitoba on a number of topics including law office management and computerization. Marcel has been a member of the board of directors of a number of charitable and non-profit organizations and has a step-daughter who has Down Syndrome and is assisted through Eastman Employment Services.

Lou is retired from his business of building wooden trusses, and now works part time at his church. He has been on the Foundation Board since 2005. Lou’s son lives in an enVision home and is supported in an enVision day service.

Michele works at William Dyck & Son in Niverville as the Flooring Department Manager. She has a son who lives with a disability and is looking to enVision to provide services in the future.

Tony is a Senior Relationship Manager with RBC Royal Bank focusing on Agriculture & Agri-Business in Manitoba.

He has been a director in a number of other non-profit boards including Association for Community Living (now enVision Community Living) from 1994 to 2000.  Tony has 2 brothers who have been assisted by Envision since 1994.
